UPDATE: Transit Fashion Director Gets Head Start on the Weekend

Keith Perry, the brain's behind yesterday's fashion show fiasco, got a head start on the weekend we're told, leaving work just before 3 o'clock friday afternoon.

Things are so bad at the city that pay raises are being taken back, pay cuts are imminent, positions are going unfilled and their may even be furloughs and layoffs.

Response from Transit upper management? Throw a fashion show on April Fool's Day then take off before the end of the workday on Friday to congratulate yourself for all you hard work.

Of course Perry couldn't get away with it if Bruce Rizzieri didn't let him. So here's to you, ABQ RIDE's "Real Men of Genius"! Have an ice cold Bud light this afternoon while the rest of us sweat out our jobs and our pay checks.

  1. Everyone who works at the ATC knows the south end is a ghost town every Friday afternoon. Oh what the hell, take the Friday part out of that sentence.

  4. Was'nt Keith Perry in trouble for leaving early and being investigated not so long ago. What a joke!!! Now they condone these actions by letteing people leave early. Or was it one of the "Non-essential Personnel can leave two hours early" deals. Then I say lay off the "NON-ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL". obviously they are not needed.

  6. The writer of this blog is absolutely pathetic. Seriously, stop feeling for yourself, get back on the bus and do the job taxpayers pay you to do. If you hate transit so much, do everyone a favor and quit. If the mayor resorts to layoffs I sincerely hope you are the first to go. It's people like you blog writer that give government employees a bad name. You are the biggest loser I hope to never meet.

  9. What is Keith unhappy about? He probably walked out with upper management. If Management was worried about his actions they would've made him punch a time card to track him.
